Right about now all that's left is a leaked device being reviewed by somebody google like what's taking you so long because we have some new renders that sort of confirm a ton of information on the upcoming pixel 6 including differences it looks like we could be getting a new MacBook pro very soon and we have a sneak peek and the leaks are kind of really good and if you're wondering why the 11 inch iPad pro doesn't have a mini led display it's uh like 2014 apple all over again

Now let's move the spotlight onto smartphone shipments for q1 and pretty much on to apple S they're simply dominating this information from counterpoint shows us that Cupertino takes six of the ten smartphones by revenue and four of the ten smartphones by volume focusing on volume the iPhone 12 sits at the top with five percent of the market with the 12 pro max and the 12 pro following at four and three percent respectively and then the iPhone 11 follows a two percent the rest of the chart sees the Redmi 9 series and some galaxy A's when it comes to revenue the top four is roughly the same but in this chart the S21 series joins in number five and seven and even nine we also see the Mate 40 pro with two percent and the iPhone SE at the bottom with one percent according to the report global smartphone revenue crossed the 100 billion mark in Q1 with the 12 pro max being the best seller in the United States and the S21 ultra in Europe we'll see if Samsung gains more traction for Q2 as apple isn't releasing anything for a while that we think now sticking to Cupertino pretty much for the rest of the show until we get to the hottest news 

Let's discuss iPad at their spring loaded event we got the M1 iPad pro refresh but we were expecting both of them to bring mini led displays and only the 12.9 inch got the upgrade with the liquid retina XDR display well my buddy Brian Tong who as a matter of fact is who inspired me to do the parking lot daily about a decade ago had a really interesting conversation on an interview with members of the iPad product marketing and display engineering team and they provided some answers at one point in the conversation Broderick mentions that the company knicks the mini led display in the 11 inch variant to retain the thin and light appeal it brings according to them consumers love the powerful yet portable form factor which is why they only added it to the 12.9 inch variant which isn't really that portable and if you think of it the first 12.9 inch iPad pro had a dramatically better display than the smaller variant that launched later it wasn't until like 2017 that things became equal we could say and I highly encourage you guys to watch the entire interview especially if you like iPad as they provide a ton of inside information on how the process works in making them 

So yes it looks like we won't be getting mini\LEDs on the 11 inch iPad until they manage to package them in a way that continues having it then in light and it is what it is now let's talk about apple once again but this time we're gonna do some connecting the dots with two different reports starting with a tweet from John Prosser that teases remember how we usually don't get hardware WWDC but according to some leaks from Luke Miani this new hardware could be the 14 inch MacBook Pro and a mac mini refresh with the m1x look did a recent collab with renders by Ian to show us what this new MacBook pro could look like these renders we can't see the smaller bezels on the display the touch bar is gone and guys we get more ports a lot of ports on one side you get a single thunderbolt along with an SD card reader and an HDMI port and apparently you can expect two more thunderbolt ports and a Magsafe charger that's smaller on the other side Luke also claims that a variant with a mini-lead display is in the pipeline but could arrive until next year apparently Apple plans to keep the current price tags as well even with all of the upgrades and the m1x we'll see if this is what we get at WWDC or if the hardware processor was teasing is simply the m1x and not the entire computer which could appear I don't know it's just weird we'll keep you posted and 

Finally for the hottest news today let's talk about the gift that keeps on giving the Google Pixel six and now if only it were actually free as the leaks are before the launches but anyways late last week we got our first look at the device for processor which is not at all an iterative update to the design we had before we did take it with a grain of salt because last year the leaks fumbled around over a major design or a change and it didn't really happen however we now have some renders from another trusted source for both phones to match processor's render so it just adds extra credibility starting with the regular pixel 6 these renders come from on leaks and 91 mobiles showing a 6.4 inch flat display with a punch hole in the center and somewhat noticeable bezels at the back we get the dual camera module which we're not exactly sure about the specifications on these and when it comes to the Six Pro these renders are from on leaks and digit dot I n showing a similar design to the regular Six but with a curved 6.67 inch display and the slimmer bezel all around on these rangers we can clearly see the camera improvements that have been rumored including a periscopic zoom lens now speaking of those cameras some leaks hint to these bringing a 50 megapixel main sensor from Sony a 12 megapixel wide angle and a periscopic telephoto with 5x zoom when it comes to internals we don't have much information yet uh we are reportedly getting Google's in-house white chapel chip here which hasn't been announced um but anyways we're expecting it at google i/o but in today's question let us know what do you think about the possible final designs because I'm going to be honest I like it I mean pixels always actually look better in real life than in the renders so I'm excited but let us know what you think in the comments down below.
