Samsung & Google’s One UI Watch is CONFUSING! iPhone 13 camera updates & more!

So what happens when the wear OS collaboration between Google and Samsung seems to be a step in the wrong direction because yes Samsung's new one UI watch was announced as its collaboration with Google to fix wireless but is it just me or is it not what we were expecting some new reports from trusted sources give us more details on the iPhone 13 and apple watch 37 and QUALCOMM just announced their new snapdragon 888 plus platform which will power flagships for the second half of this year

Let's keep talking official news and switch gears onto QUALCOMM as the company just released the plus variant of the snapdragon 888 platform this new SOC features their Cryo 680 CPU which helps on day-to-day use which provides speeds of up to 3 gigahertz QUALCOMM is claiming a 20 boost in AI performance thanks to 32 tops that will allow the chip to run multiple neural networks at the same time this helps in making video calls and entertainment more immersive it also allows for AI based noise cancellation and AI super resolution you're also getting a third generation snapdragon x60 modem for better 5G coverage and it has a new 6 gigahertz spectrum for improved wi-fi speeds and up to 6 gigabits when it comes to optics this features the spectra 580 triple ISP which lets you capture from three lenses at the same time it allows for HDR video recording and over a billion shades of color and deep black color reproduction as well as improvements in low light QUALCOMM's snapdragon 88 plus will be available in the second half of this year and powering smartphones from companies like honor, vivo, Xiaomi and others that pretty much already claim that fame

Let's move on to Samsung and their upcoming wearables which have been getting leaked like crazy so far we've got galleries of the galaxy watch 4 and the watch active 4 which looks pretty much the same and now we've got the galaxy buds 2 and well it's their turn and yeah we'll talk a bit about the watch soon anyways we have a new gallery of images from 91 mobiles that show off the new design apparently we can expect a slightly different design for these buds with a similar shape but now you get a uniform texture instead of a glossy finish like we've gotten in previous variants there's also two microphones that will most likely help with noise reduction but I don't think we can expect ANC considering that these aren't the pros the report mentions that we can also expect rubber tips passive noise reduction like in the original buds and your typical squared case that's pretty much available in the new models now speaking of the case all of them will apparently have a white case on the outside but then it will match the specific color variant on the inside you can expect black white purple and green flavors each buds is expected to have a 60 milliamp hour battery and the case will support 2.5 watt charging we are reportedly getting these at Samsung's unpacked along with the foldable so let's see what we get I mean if only they ditched the capacitive buttons for real ones that would make them really awesome but alright

Let's move the spotlight onto Cupertino and things we can expect this fall starting with the iPhone 13 series or 12s or whatever you want to call it we have a new report from Ming Chi Quo that details some new camera upgrades Quo mentions that the 13 pro and 13 pro max will feature an upgraded ultra wide angle camera with auto focus when compared to the current fixed focused ultra wide lens we've got on the 12 series now if you're wondering why this matters well think of macro capabilities which aren't really mentioned but then another possible case is for you to get crazy shallow depth of field if they provide the improved aperture the new lens would also provide added improvements in image quality and sharpness now moving on to the apple watch we have a new report that gives us a better idea on things we are getting and why we're not getting others I know it's weird but in a new report from Bloomberg they claim that the 2022 model will introduce a body temperature sensor now the reason why this is relevant right now is because Cupertino was reportedly adding it this year but they thought it would be a better idea to make room for a larger battery which would require them to remove the sensor other reports also mentioned that we're getting a more compact dual sided chip which also gives more room for the larger power pack leaks point to the watch being slightly thicker as well but nothing too noticeable and we can also expect better UWB support and the new square design which was leaked a couple of months ago hopefully with these changes we're finally getting the 18 hours of battery life that apple has been advertising since the first generation has never been able to achieve

Finally for the most uh should I say interesting thing today let's talk about Samsung Google and upcoming wearables once again I mean I wish I could call it the hottest news but bear with me so back at google I/O google announced that they would be collaborating with Samsung for wear OS but they left a lot of questions and it looks like we finally get some answers but boy like what answers I mean semi just had their MWC event today where they revealed their new interface designed to make the Galaxy watch and smartphone experience more connected thanks to their collaboration with Google they're essentially making your Galaxy watch act more like if it was running one UI instead of wear OS or Tizen okay for whoever expected that to be a good idea they're also making these upgrades based off of better performance longer battery life consistent and accurate health sensors which I like and seamless access to applications and services which we know very few people use now when it comes to performance they listed that applications will now load up to 30 faster they're working on e-sim compatibility with more carriers and upgrades to the health application in order to use better sensors battery life will improve by using smaller low power cores even letting you run the heart rate sensor continuously for better tracking which is the reason

I stick to a Garmin and probably the best part about it is the native Google applications on the galaxy watch and the play store integration for you to download third-party apps like Spotify now anyways Samsung and Google are letting developers play a huge role here so we hope they deliver as well I mean watch faces are also getting a big change where Samsung is giving their design tools to developers for third-party watch phases and apparently the consumer can expect more freedom for designs as well this new Galaxy watch which we can reportedly expect at unpacked will be the first one to rock this new UI and from what we understood only new watches will be able to run the new user interface but Samsung will provide three years of support from launch for those Tizen watches that are affected so in today's question I mean are you satisfied or underwhelmed with this new one UI for the watch because honestly I mean I guess I was expecting more it's proven that a smartphone on your wrist is not the solution and this seems to be like a deeper dive into that paradigm but again it seems that because we didn't get more concrete information it might just not be the best time for me to provide any opinion until we do so anyways I don't like what I see but it's mainly because I'm against having a smart watch on your wrist I would rather have a more dedicated product that will do a better job on your wrist but that's just me leave us a comment down below we'd love to know your opinion friends!
